Bursting with ideas, you invariably have new games with play. Again you offered to play make-believe with me. With a toy sheep stuffed under your red floral shirt and clasped to your belly, your tummy bulged.

你总是有想法，总是有新游戏玩儿。你又要玩儿假装。你把一个玩具小羊掖进你的红花衬衣下顶着肚子，于是肚子就鼓了起来。

You said you were a mummy with a baby. "Oh, he just kicked my shirt," you said, sitting on the windowsill. "I need to go to the hospital," you thought out loud, breaking into a trot towards the study. "What do you go to the hospital for?" I asked. "To take out the baby," you answered, with out so much as a backward glance at me.

你说你是一个妈妈，你有一个婴儿。“噢，他刚才踢我的衬衣了，”你坐在窗台上说。“我要去医院，”你自言自语，突然朝书房跑去。“为什么去医院？”我问。“把婴儿取出来，”你回答，也没回头看。

I followed you into the study at your heels, where you told me to play the role of the doctor to be helping you take out the baby. "Where did you learn this?" I asked wonderingly after pulling out that toy sheep – your "baby" – from under your shirt. "The movie," you blurted out, your eyes sparkling with excitement.

我紧跟着你屁股后头也进了书房。你要我扮演医生帮你把婴儿取出来。我把你那个玩具小羊也就是你的“婴儿”从你的衬衣下面拉出来，就是完成了我作为医生的任务。接着我惊奇地问，“你哪儿学来的？”“动画片，”你两眼冒着兴奋的光脱口而出。
